Embracing imperfection: a pep talk from Japan
In this fittingly 'lo-fi' episode, recorded on the fly in a cabin in Japan, I talk about throwing imperfection out the window.
I give a sweet little rundown of my Japan trip and the inspiration all around me (nature! green! mountains! podcasts!).
A few things catalysed me to record this episode.
Other than just wanting to share some of the awe and energy this beautiful country has given me, I've also been inspired by a seemingly totally unrelated podcast episode we listened to one of our long drives (I will share in the show notes below) as well as many conversations I've had with wonderful women lately.
In short, this is a little tough love chat to say: please don't let perfectionism, fear or 'busy' behaviour get in the way of doing the work you really need to do for yourself.
I see this far too often in my work and it is time to STOP, make space and prioritise yourself.
Ask yourself: what is really truly getting the way for you?
As always, much much love from me. I'm interested to hear from you - what does this bring up for you? What will this catalyse you to do? Let me know!!
